“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18

The 2022 vision that the Lord has given Legacy Church is to be a house of Glory. We are to contend for the glory of God. The glory of God consists of the manifested presence of God, the manifested power of God and His manifested goodness.

Glory is defined in the dictionary as the presence of the divine being: manifestations of the divine nature and favor. Scripture defines this divine being as YAHWEH. God is called the God of Glory, Father of Glory, and the King of Glory. The Hebrew word for glory is Kabod, which means heavy, weighty. So what is the glory? It’s great beauty, splendor or magnificence, something marked by beauty. It’s the splendor and happiness of heaven. A state of great exaltation, a height of prosperity and achievement, a state of absolute happiness and rejoicing. Simply put, glory is all the goodness of God.

What would take place if we became a people that desired God’s manifested presence more than the promise? To desire to know Him more, not out of selfish ambitions or motives. Let us be a people of His presence, to be continually aware of His presence upon and over us.

“Please, show me your glory.” Exodus 33:18

This is our scripture for 2022. “Please, show me your glory!” Let us be vessels of glory who are contending for, containing, and carrying the glory of God. The glory will not be poured out in a greater manifestation until we are hungry for more of His glory.

“Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”  John 11:40

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters over the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14

“The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the LORD of hosts.  And in this place I will give peace, declares the LORD of hosts.’” Haggi 2:9

God is calling Legacy Church to be filled with His glory now! Encountering greater glory, this house will be known as a house of God’s presence, goodness, and God’s power. A house of Glory.
