“Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for His purposes.” Ephesians 5:16

Every day we have opportunities that are presented to us. Opportunities that will change our world. But many times, we miss these opportunities because they look like opposition-chaos, a storm, a battle, or even an immovable mountain.

WHERE WE SEE TROUBLE, GOD SEES OPPORTUNITIES

We need to begin to look at things with God’s perspective, having a faith perspective. We need to see opportunity within the opposition. As you are up against what seems impossible, you have a choice: to do what the Word tells us to do, to take full advantage of the opportunity, or retreat and remain in your current place of an impossible situation. In Mark 11, Jesus tells us to SPEAK to the mountain, or the opportunity. In the God kind of faith, speaking is a main ingredient. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God. So, there is no such thing as silent faith! Remaining silent means you will lose by default!

“BELIEVING AND SPEAKING OPENS THE DOOR TO THE SUPERNATURAL.” -KENNETH HAGIN

It takes both believing and speaking the Word. Believing is the attitude of faith, speaking is the activation of faith! Believing isn’t typically the problem for us. When what is being spoken doesn’t line up with the Word of God, that is when there is a problem. Not only are we speaking against what we believe, but we are also speaking opposite of the Word of God.

The reason why speaking is a main ingredient in faith is because God’s Word is a spoken Word-it is a recorded document transcribed from the voice of the Holy Spirit. It was spoken so we could place it in our mouths to speak it forth. So that we could receive the same results! The Word of God in your mouth is just as if Jesus was speaking Himself!

In Mark 11, Jesus tells us to speak to the mountain in our lives. But so many pray that God would do something. For God to move the mountain, for Him to bring change into our lives. This isn’t what the Word tells us to do. We must use our voice!

Another passage of scripture where God tells us to speak is in Numbers 20. God told Moses to speak to the rock. Before, Moses struck the rock and water came out of it. This time, God showed Moses that there is power in our words. However, Moses didn’t use his voice. Again, he struck the rock. This disobedience kept Moses from entering into the promise land. Don’t let your silence keep you from the promise. If you have the faith to declare it, God has the power to do it!

The more we strike the mountain by talking about the opposition, the larger it looks. Instead, magnify God-who is bigger than the opposition.

Faith never stops declaring the Word. No matter what the opposition looks like. Your words are a powerful substance producer. Having a faith that will not quit is having a confession that will not stop. When you speak, something happens in the unseen realm. Things begin to shift. If God wanted that mountain in your life, He wouldn’t have told you to move it. He wants you to see and seize the opportunity and claim what is on the other side of that mountain. You have an opportunity to change the world with your words!
