Each one of us is in the middle of some sort of adversity, challenges, trials, battles. We are all in a fight. Be determined right now, in the midst of the midnight hour, to find the opportunity within the adversity.
“And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.” Matthew 16:19
What YOU bind and loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. We are in control here on earth. God gave Adam authority, He gave man dominion here on earth. The statement “God is in control” will cause you to become complacent and silent. You will lose by default by being silent, stuck in the same spot waiting on God to be in control. Get off the sidelines and get into the fight! Refuse to allow the circumstances around you to dictate your story. Refuse to allow all that is going on in this country to dictate your story. The enemy does not want you to have a story of victory. 1 Peter 5:8 tells us, “The adversary (our enemy) goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.” But the enemy knows if you rise up in faith and fight he cannot win.
You have the Greater One living on the inside of you. Satan does not have the power to kill you. His desire is to fight you in isolation where you are most vulnerable and insecure. Attacking through your thought life so he can bring condemnation, shame, discouragement. All of these things ushering in doubt and anxiety so you dwell on these things, destroying yourself.
“FOR WHATEVER IS BORN OF GOD OVERCOMES THE WORLD. AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD-OUR FAITH” 1 JOHN 5:4
There is a weapon available to believers to tap into to overcome. That weapon is praise. There is power in your praise-it is the evidence of faith. It is the highest expression of faith, it’s verbalized faith. Your praise is the sound of faith being released, a demonstration of your expectation in and on God’s ability and His word. It’s the sound of victory.
There is a difference between worship and praise. Worship is the gift we give God for who He is. Praise is the gift we give God for what He is going to do. A celebration that releases from God whatever you’re boasting about. It’s a cure for the situation you are facing.
Your praise is one of your biggest weapons of warfare that brings the manifestation of victory into your life. When you praise, angles are deployed on your behalf to fight your battles. Battles known and battles that are not known. Your greatest victories will come out of the greatest battles you face!
“WHEN THE RIGHTEOUS REJOICE, THERE IS GREAT GLORY” Proverbs 28:12
You cannot expect a miracle when your mouth is shut. Be determined to set the atmosphere in your life to receive a miracle. The level of one’s faith is seen in the evidence of the degree they are willing to praise. Be determined to position yourself not in fear, but in faith with praise declaring that the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s. Believe the ending of 202 is going to be greater than it started, running into 2021 with great glory! A year of greater things-of greater victories! A year of miracles! A year of leaving a legacy!
