Planted in Christ:
To be successful in this journey with Christ, you must be planted in Christ. When you are planted in good soil that is full of life you will bear the God kind of fruit in your life. Being planted in Christ comes from praying, reading the Bible, and being connected to a family of believers who will encourage you and help strengthen you.
In our connect classes we will teach you the foundations of faith and being planted in Christ. You will learn what this looks like and how to continue to stay planted in fertile ground, Christ, so you can grow bearing fruit to look more like Jesus.
Planted in Church:
The Bible tells us in Psalm 92:13-14 “Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing.” You can’t ever expect to be planted in Christ if you are not planted in His house! In the last part of this verse, we see the word “flourishing”, which is a continual state. God wants us to continue to grow in Him and producing fruit so that we can shine bright in this world for Him.
These connection classes will reveal why being planted in church is important to your growth and will help you stay planted in Christ. At Legacy Church, you will find a family who is full of love and encouragement that will be there to help strengthen you as you take this journey with Jesus.
Planted in Community:
In Matthew 5:13-14, Jesus tells us to be the salt and light of the earth! We are to take the good news, which is the Gospel, to a world that is lost in darkness. We are to take Jesus to our community to change one life at a time. Being planted in Christ, in that good soil, causes us to bear the right kind of fruit and the God kind of character. Being planted in the Church will cause us to flourish in our life with Christ, bearing fruit and being strong and bold to be planted in the community. You are a move of God someone is waiting on.
