God’s power is the very essence of who He is. God’s power is supernatural, everlasting, and limitless. We must be a people that stop limiting God to our finite mind and take the limits off of HIm. He desires to manifest His Glory- His power more and more in these days.
“When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless.” Genesis 17:1
God declared to Abraham; I am God Almighty. There is none like Him. In Exodus, Moses understood that the power of God was where His presence was. If Moses went into the land without God, he would have been void of God’s power as well. This is why God’s presence is so important- when He is present, His power is present.
Luke 18:27 says “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” When God enters the room, anything is possible-healing, restoration, freedom. When Jesus was on earth, His presence was the power of God. But now, the Holy Spirit is the power of God active upon earth. This is why Jesus declared it was better for Him to go away. So that the power of the Holy Spirit could come.
“Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Ephesians 3:20
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work for us and in us! The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is inside of us. The moment you declared Jesus is Lord of your life, He transferred that same spirit, the same power, to you. Jesus give us authority and power, to bind and lose, to walk and live in victory, to be an overcomer, to cause the enemy to flee.
“So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, it is dead.” James 2:17.
Just because we have God’s power inside us, does not mean it is manifested in our lives. Action is required. You have to act upon the Word of God, speak the Word of God. When you act, you activate the power of God. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Faith is now. Power is available to you now. There is power in the name of Jesus. It is the name above every other name. Everything is under submission to the name of Jesus. When you speak the name of Jesus, you have that same authority and power. It is our part to believe and act in faith and it’s God’s part to do the supernatural. When someone steps out in faith, believing God for the impossible-get ready for heaven to move! When we don’t hold back, God can’t hold back!
